Plant Medicines are medicines derived from plants, fungi, or animal sources, the natural pharmakons. This branch of the catalog is organized by Dale Pendell's effect-based taxonomy (Phantastica/Daimonica/Excitantia/Empathogenica/Euphorica/Pacifica/Rhapsodica/Existentia/Evaesthetica), complementing the mechanism-based taxonomy in the rest of Category:Medicines.
Plant medicines may also appear in mechanism-based categories (e.g., Cannabis is both Category:Evaesthetica and Category:Cannabinoids).
